Who Do You Think Is The Strongest Symbiote? - Symbiotes - Comic Vine
src: static.comicvine.com

The Symbiotes (later revealed to be known as Klyntar ) is a fictional race of amorphous extraterrestrial symbiotes that appears in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Bond Symbiotes with their host, creating a symbiotic bond through which a single entity is created.

The first appearance (s) of the symbiote took place at The Amazing Spider-Man # 252, The Spectacular Spider-Man # 90, and Marvel Team-Up # 141 (released simultaneously in May 1984), in which Spider-Man brought a house to Earth after the Secret War ( Secret War # 8, released a few months later, detailing his first meeting with it). This concept was made by Marvel Comics readers, with publishers buying ideas for $ 220. The original design was later modified by Mike Zeck, becoming Venom's symbiote. This concept will be explored and used throughout the storyline, spin-off comics, and derivative projects.

Fictional biography

The Klyntar, as their self-referential symbiote, comes from a planet of the same name in the Andromeda Galaxy, and is a kind-hearted species that believes in helping others, which they try to do by creating heroes through a process of bonding with the morally and physically ideal. Hosts suffering from chemical imbalances or cultural malignancies can disrupt the symbiosis, turning it into a destructive parasite that fights their altruistic brothers by spreading lies and disinformation about their own kind, to make other races fear and hate the species as a whole.

The damaged Klyntar becomes wider than their generous counterparts, building a space culture dedicated to infecting and overtaking the planet. The corrupt Klyntar forces their host to perform a death defying feat to feed from the rapid roar of adrenaline, and other hormones, such as phenethylamine. These host creatures will be sucked dry, exhausted by stress and constant effort, or die in a way that fails.

At some point, the broken symbiotic invaded the planet which was later eaten by Galactus. Due to their genetic memory, all symbiote now hate both Galactus and his former herald, Silver Surfer. ZZZXX, symbiote with a tendency to eat the brain, was also captured by Shi'ar, and imprisoned and studied for years until it was released and employed as Praetorian Guard by Gabriel Summers.

Symbiote Venom is the first permanent resident symbiote on Earth, carried by Spider-Man after the events of the Secret War. It was then established that the Venom symbiote was considered insane by fellow parasites as sought, such as the peaceful Klyntar, the reciprocal ties with the host rather than domination, and for that reason the symbiote was placed in a prison tube, and purportedly cursed. died by disintegrating on the planet that would later become part of the Beyonder Battleworld where he tied up with Spider-Man as he tried a machine that made every article of clothing one can imagine. Symbiote soon after that tied with Spider-Man and returned with him to Earth where he remained tied up for some time until Reed Richards found the suit was actually a living alien symbiote and helped Spider-Man remove it with a sonic blaster. Stung by rejection, symbiote escapes from a secure laboratory located at the Fantastic Four headquarters and goes in search of Spider-Man again. It was tied to him a second time but Spider-Man was able to wipe away using the bell of the church's blaring sound. Simbiote eventually went to Eddie Brock; during this time, she gave birth to six children, her first child then had her own two children. Brock will soon change and spend a lot of time trying to become a hero with the lawsuit.

Although initially pleased with Brock, since Brock blamed Spider-Man for his failure, the symbiote gradually became increasingly possessive and abusive to him, eventually sold by Eddie. It is then revealed that, in addition to their joint hostility to Spider-Man, it also stuck with him due to his adrenal gland cancer. Since then, Venom's suit has gradually grown increasingly fierce and insane. When tied to Flash Thompson, who initially struggled to control it, symbiote developed a little affection for her. This then specifies that the mental state of the host affects the symbiote just the opposite, since the Carnage symbiote is as psychotic as the host and Venom's venom detonation gets worse after being tied to the two hosts after Brock, both of whom are career criminals. Likewise, the various symbiotes attached to the heroes do not prove to be crooked, though sometimes they struggle with aggression.

Angel Medina claims he is reluctant to start work on Mighty Avengers because he is working on the Venom project, only to be told he will draw a story with "Avengers vs. an alien invasion - by Venom." The bow of the story is then confirmed to be withdrawn by Mark Bagley, because Medina will not be available. Solicitations state that the New Avengers will also be part of this arc, they themselves become full of symbiote. New Avengers # 34 reveals that Doctor Doom is responsible for dropping the "Venom Bomb" in New York that releases symbiote. The story is completed in Mighty Avengers # 8. The backstory further reveals that Doctor Doom collects small samples of the symbiote cells from the drones he has previously sent. Later, it was revealed that Kristoff Vernard actually arranged this so Doom would be caught for the above event.

A group of Broods that have been taken over by symbiote then attack S.W.O.R.D. satellite and has all its inhabitants, among them Abigail Brand, and Deathbird. The sympathy is defeated by Spider-Man (who temporarily merges with one, controlling it with the help of Martha Johansson) and X-Men.

Homeworld of Klyntar was later raided by Poison with the help of Haze Mancer - a symbiote hunter - who resulted in the apparent death of the Cosmos Agents and the abduction of all the symbiote, leaving the planet barren and uninhabited. The abducted symbiote is then modified by Poison so it can be used on the superhero on Earth so that Poison can be consumed. After the defeat of Poison, the surviving symbiote is returned to Klyntar.

Strength and ability

Symbiosis empowers the natural ability of the host to the point where they far outweigh the normal members of the host species. These capabilities include the following:

  • The superhuman strength (strong enough to lift 50 tons or more), speed, endurance, agility, healing factors, and intelligence, increases other natural attributes as well.
  • Genetic memory, given information from previous hosts.
  • The ability to eliminate damage caused by terminal illness and permanent injury while not actually curing it. For example, Eddie Brock was able to survive indefinitely with terminal cancer, and Scott Washington was able to walk despite being paralyzed. Also Flash Thompson has received "feet" after being tied to Venom's symbiote when he lost his leg in the war. While symbiotes can heal their host, they usually try to force the host to depend on them and thus ensure the survival of the symbiotes.
  • Can expand to any size as long as they have something to grow like hosts or objects. Symbiote can enter into small areas such as power cables and the inside of the car and completely disable it.
  • The senses extend to the entire surface, allowing his host to "see" what's behind or not on his line of sight.
  • Symbiote also reacts to the mind and will of the host. When Spider-Man was initially chosen, he had thought of Spider-Woman costumes in the Secret War. Symbiote acts upon this and forms the same costume, which is visible on himself and Venom.
  • Can be integrated into the environment and disappear.
  • Can change body shape ((clothes, clothes etc.)
  • Can breathe under water.
  • Change the actual designs based on personality.

The following are functions that have been demonstrated from the various will of the host (but not limited to):

  • Ability to block some of the hosts' minds.
  • The ability to form simple fangs or bladed weapons from their limbs. The first appearance is the Carnage symbiote
  • The ability to form tendrils and tentacles of various lengths from his body.
  • The ability to project symbiote surfaces to attack from a distance.
  • The ability to change shape, from imitating clothes to and including a complete appearance change, regardless of the actual stature and dimensions of the host body as symbiote is a tesseract life.
  • The ability to disguise itself and its host by assuming the color or texture of the material behind or around it. (The Venom symbiote shows the ability to do this with water and wood.)
  • Ability to stick to walls (adapted from Spider-Man).
  • The ability to produce toxins and toxins, as in Venomous bites Venom brought to Sandman.
  • The ability to produce webbing from its own mass (adapted from Spider-Man).
  • The Venom symbiote also has empathic ability, and is able to project desires and needs into the mind of the host or prospective occupant; this ability can also help Venom in detecting the truth of the people he interrogates.
  • Can feel the existence of other creatures within a certain distance.
  • The symbiote relationship protects the host from the Ghost Rider redemption gaze.
  • Venom and all its derivatives (the latter on the lower levels) have the ability to pass Spider-Sense; because the original symbiote is attached to Peter Parker (Spider-Man) first, it requires genetic information and its spider power. This means that the symbiote that attacks Peter is essentially a self-attacking Peter, which will not make Spider-Sense (during Clone Saga , this becomes complicated, as Venom and Carnage make Ben Reilly Spider-Sense ).
  • The ability to create a storage portal in it (this creates easy access to Peter's camera).
  • Each symbiote has their unique abilities, like Carnage that can see from every direction of the body (this is similar to Spider-Man's Spider-Sense). Venom's poison bite, the ability of the poison to transform its shape and shape into Spider-Man as it builds (Slim, but powerful) and Venom likes to build (Big and Muscular) which is controlled by his feelings.
  • In some realities, Venom symbiote has been proven to be able to replicate.
  • In some instances, symbiote feeds on the more basic emotions of the host, creating an increasingly hostile personality. The longer the host is exposed to symbiote, the stronger this state of mind.
  • Have the ability to breathe under water (seen in Vengeance of Venom).

Weakness

Symbiotic has a natural disadvantage for "sonic and heat-based attacks". However, since every new symbiote has given birth to a child, natural evolution seems to not only increase their strength, but also reduce their weakness. Even existing symbiote can mutate and develop this resistance. However, there is no immune symbiote in mainstream continuity, as the latest breeds can be harmed by enormous sonic and heat waves. Also, in the Ultimate Marvel Universe, symbiotes are susceptible to heat generated by high voltage electricity.

There are other weaknesses besides sonic and hot. Iron Man succeeds in creating a formula of antidote that can destroy the symbiote (it should be noted that this is actually just a viral-like biological organism created by Doctor Doom, originally based on the Venom symbiote and specifically made as a bi-weapon). With Venom and Carnage, the authorities have been able to keep symbiotes in check with chemical inhibitors. Styx criminals almost killing Venom symbiote with a deadly touch. Whether a symbiote can mutate and reduce the effects of this weakness is unknown, although Carnage claims to have developed an immunity to sonic. Also, when the symbiote is tied to Wolverine, it is driven by its advanced healing factor, although Wolverine's healing factor is useless when it is attached to the Venom symbiote clone.

In some incarnations, symbiote is described as requiring certain chemicals (possibly phenethylamine) to remain healthy and healthy, which has been said to be found abundantly in two sources: chocolate and human brain tissue. So, the host is forced to steal/buy large chocolates or become a cannibal who does not want to eat the brains of the people they kill. This characteristic is only witnessed in the Venom symbiote. However, both Carnage and Toxin have threatened their enemies with aspirations to "eat their brains", as well as various other body parts. When Toxin works with Spider-Man and Black Cat, he struggles to keep himself together, telling Spider-Man that he's just "joking" about eating the robber's brains.

At least on one occasion, Spider-Man was able to eliminate Venom's symbiosis by taking advantage of the fact that it made its net out of itself; after the symbiote has used many nets to tie it to the bell, Spider-Man forces Venom to use the webbing further so that it will run out on its own, such as blood dripping from the wound (although the large number of symbiotic membranes needs to be used because of this weakness to be used to make use of it in a limited battle).

Another disadvantage they have is their hunger for feelings. In the Planet of the Symbiote storyline, Eddie Brock releases a terrible cry of pain and suffering so that all symbiotic races commit mass suicide. However, the way they commit suicide is unclear.

Xenophages, a space-shifting race that prey on symbiote, have the ability to spew unknown inflammatory chemicals that paralyze the symbiote, and enhance their appetite.

The new and still mysterious race in space known as Poison , it seems the natural answer to the symbiote, begins to prey on them through direct contact infections that form the unstoppable one-sided union undesirable by the symbiote.

This suggests that the aggressive behavior of Symbiotes may be the result of his bond with someone who has a very rough behavior that makes them crazy as shown when Deadpool first wore the Symbiote Venom suit before switching to Spider-Man.

Other versions

In the universe Ultimate Marvel , Symbiote is displayed. The Venom suit is a man-made creation produced from experiments by Richard Parker and Edward Brock, Sr. to develop protoplasmic drugs for cancer. It used Richard's DNA as the initial basis for it, so that he and Peter were "linked" to it. This lawsuit increases the strength and natural ability of the wearer, but also tries to permanently bind with the host and can influence his mind. His greatest sympathy seems weak only for electricity. When worn by a host other than Richard's son Peter, Ultimate Spider-Man, the host is forced to devour the energy of another human life or have his own consumed by the lawsuit instead.
