Strong Strong is a fictional character from the series of Homestar Runner animated Flash animated cartoons inspired by Strong Rhino from the Tag Team Wrestling video game. He is played by Matt Chapman, the main voice actor and co-founder of this series. Strong Bad likes to poke other characters out of the series, along with the ever-diligent pet dog named "The Cheat" and his brother Strong Mad. The Bad Strong main segment is part of the " Strong Poor Email ", where he answers emails sent to him by fans. The Strong Emails series are becoming so popular that seven DVDs featuring emails have been released, as well as podcasts where emails can be downloaded to digital media players, since the first episode in 2001.
The character's face resembles a red mask of lucha-libre, with 4 ropes behind and a blue diamond in the middle of his eye. Diamonds have the power to remove the bottle cap from the "Cold People" and take off the Homestar cap, even though he's only seen doing this once. His eyes are green and shiny, and seem to turn gray when he dies. Normally the mouth is a peach-shaped rectangle when it does not speak, and can form the "o" shape when using the word with the "o" sound in it. He does not have a shirt (but puts on certain occasions), nipples, and navel. Strong Bad also has boxing gloves for his hands, though mysteriously he can type with them in his Strong Bad Email. He also wore black pants, along with red shoes with white soles that curved outwards.
Strong Bad was originally created to be the main antagonist of the series, but since then, he has become less of a villain and more of a comic aid antihero. However, he is sometimes still referred to as an antagonist, because of the jokes he, Gila Strong, and Cheat are playing on other characters, and insult his brother Strong Sad. He appears to be a character influenced by the trends of American popular culture in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, such as heavy metal music and second and third generation video games and video game consoles. Because he is one of the most popular characters on the site, his merchandise is also paired from Strong Bad, which includes the t-shirts and shirts sold by the website.
Bad Strong has become one of the most popular characters in the series, and has been well received. In an article by National Review Online, Strong Bad is described as "a liar, a liar, a manipulator, and a selfish who does not stop", but also "one of the coolest characters on the Internet and a real star of Homestarrunner.com , which is probably the most popular homegrown animation in the world ". Segments have been separated from his email, including "Teen Girl Squad", a comic drawn by Strong Bad about four teenage friends, and "20X6", an anime-style cartoon featuring Japanese versions of characters, such as the Japanese version of Strong Bad, "Stinkoman".

Peran dalam Homestar Runner
At the start of the series, he and Homestar Runner will fight each other in competitions such as jumping the most, lifting as many wines as possible, and performing tag team wrestling. As the series continues, Strong Bad becomes less than a villain, though he still hates Homestar, but not as a tough competitor, most see Homestar as a fool and annoying. Both have been known to get along, however. Along with his physically intimidating but mentally limited brother, Strong Mad and his yellow skin, The Cheat, Strong Bad represents the self-declared criminal element in the series. Many shorts concerning the various practical jokes and deceit they do. Although this is usually just a little bit evil, the Strong Strong still acts as if he is the evil mastermind, and is particularly vulnerable to exaggerating his alluring qualities - especially with regard to women. Strong Bad is also the "rule" area of ââthe fictional world called Badia Strong. It consists of barren fields, fences, tires, and a stop sign reading "Pop: Tire" (Pop population of meaning) leaning on a cinder block. Strong Bad said he bought the property from Bubs in one email, although he originally said he ruled it since "school diapers". It was once "haunted" by the ghost of Tandy 400, Strong Bad's first computer. In addition to the powerful Badia, he and The Cheat enjoy hanging out on a stick known as "Sticks".
Strong Bad's main role in cartoons is in the Strong Bad Email segment, where he answers emails sent to him from viewers. The Strong Bad Emails started as a small segment in 2001, where Strong Bad will mock the spelling and grammar of those who write to it, typically while typing with boxing gloves on an outdated computer. He has parodied the question of "how you type with boxing gloves at", which is considered one of the most asked questions in emails he receives. Often the cut-away sequence is used to move the narration beyond just typing. After the email event is over, Strong Bad wraps it up, and then "The Paper" or "New Paper" drops with a link to the Strong Bad email address. Often, hidden animations (Easter Eggs) are displayed when the user clicks a word or image either during an email or after completion. By 2017, there are 207 Bad Poor emails. Although the animation was initially short, they gradually grew to make lots of slogans and run jokes, as well as spin-offs like Trogdor the Burninator, Teen Girl Squad, and even characters like Homsar and Senor Cardgage. An example of a Strong Poor Email replies is the technology, where he makes the techno song "The System Is Down". Initially, his most widely used slogan was "Holy Crap!" and other variations on this theme (eg: "What is the nonsense?"), although now he parodies this in his response to email. In older sbemails, the computer is often subjected to "glaring errors", as in "50 email" sbemail.
Some of the "replacement versions" of Strong Bad are in another cartoon on the website. One of them is "Stinkoman", an anime-style Strong Bad futuristic that seems to be a parody of Japanese animation. Stinkoman has no thumbs, big robot bot, small mouth when closed but "very big" when open, blue hair ("Must have blue hair!") And big green eyes. Strong Bad designs this character in a "japanese cartoon" email, when someone asks what will look like a Japanese cartoon. For the "1936" segment on the website, Strong Bad is sometimes referred to as Sir Strong Bad, Uncle Strong Bad, or Old-Timey Strong Bad. She appears in black and white and has hair and mustache handlebar. His face is less detailed and he has no visible mouth but his mustache moves when he speaks. Another version is "Strong Badman", which is basically a tall, muscular, Strong Bad version of Strong Badman's book, often calling his magic partner "L'il Stiny" (The Strong Bad mocks the author's name "superhero name" ).

Character
Creation
Strong Bad is based on "Strong Bads", a Lucha libre-style combat team from the 1983 arcade video game Tag Team Wrestling , since cartoons rotate mostly around pop culture references. When The Brothers Chaps were asked about these origins, they replied, "Oh yes, of course Bad Bad We just did something stupid in Kinko for friends We did not plan for all this to happen." Along with most of the main characters of the website, Strong Bad debuted in Brothers Chaps children's book entitled "The Homestar Runner Entering the Strongest Man in the World Contest". In this story, The Homestar Runner, Strong Bad (with a little help from The Cheat), and Pom Pom enters the power competition, along with The Robot, Mr. Bland, SeÃÆ' à ± or, and Grape Fairie as referees, some characters that rarely appear in the series later. The concept for this began in 1996 when both The Brothers Chaps were looking for children's books. When they do not find anything they like, they create their own parody. After creating some characters and writing plots, they make copies of books and try to sell them. This hand-drawn book is the only incarnation of Bad Strong for several years. However, this did not work, so the concept of the website with Homestar Runner and Pom Pom as the protagonist, and Strong Bad and The Cheat as antagonists, came true in 2000.
Development
The website was originally intended to revolve around Homestar, but Strong Bad was getting popular after the first few months of the website, and Chapman's brother decided to give him his own segment, Strong Bad Email, (SBEmail for short). According to Mike Chapman, "... He's become everyone's favorite character." In children's books and the early stages of the website, Strong Bad looks significantly different than today's characters. He has very small hands, and a red and black lucha libre mask, contrary to the blue and green areas of the mask that belong to the current version of Bad Strong. In the book, Strong Bad and The Cheat are defined as the main "villains" for Homestar Runner and Pom Pom, which are defined as the main "protagonists". It does change, because each character develops its own style.
Reception
Strong Bad has been well received by critics and website viewers. It's considered one of the most popular characters on the website, and the Strong Poor Email segment is one of the most viewed segments of Homestar Runner . In the Strong Bad audio review and the rest of the Homestar Runner character, National Public Radio says "There are many evil characters hiding in the dark corners of the World Wide Web, but Strong Bad is just horrible. Peter Wood from National Review Online commented on Strong Bad's personality and his evil-looking appearance. He states: "The mighty Bad may not be the one you want to move next door. The red and black Wrestlemania mask he wears all the time is a clue, like a boxing glove, which he keeps keeping even while he's typing sarcastically... He is one of the coolest characters on the Internet and a real star of Homestarrunner.com, which is probably the most popular homegrown animation in the world. "He added," Strong Bad also dabbled in other media and, like Professor Cornel West, recording his own rap, 'Everybody to the Limit', built on a delightful typographic blast, 'fhqwhgads ' ", and also said," The humor also combines slapstick slapstick with sharp satire of American popular culture. At one point, tired asked how he typed with boxing gloves, Strong Strong put fake fingers: shrimp, lit birthday candles, and action-figure toys. "Johnny Dee, a reviewer from The Guardian of England, described the humor of Strong Bad. He writes: "Like South Park and Modern Toss, Strong Bad is not really beautiful to look at but he's constantly funny," and added, "Strong Bad is an animated Mexican wrestler... and the undoubted star of the cartoon surear site Homestar Pelari. "
