Jason Mantzoukas (born December 18, 1972) is an American comedy actor famous for his recurring role as Rafi in the comedy series FX League and as Nadal on The Dictator .
Mantzoukas have appeared in films like Sleeping with Others, They Came Together, and Conceptions . He has a recurring role in Parks and Recreation as Dennis Feinstein and has appeared in Brooklyn Nine-Nine as Adrian Pimento and at The Good Place as a crane Hoffstetler. He also hosted the popular film discussion podcast How Does This Get Made? with Paul Scheer and June Diane Raphael.

Early life and education
Mantzoukas was born in Lynn, Massachusetts, and grew up near Nahant, son of Cynthia (nÃÆ' Â © e Mourousas) and William Mantzoukas. He describes himself as a "100 percent Greek" descendant. Mantzoukas is a breakdance pioneer, and a leading light in Massachusetts Bar and Bat Mitzvah. Mantzoukas was a great drummer during his time at Swampscott High School, tethering a band called Slygoul. He studied at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. Mantzoukas lived in the Middle East for several years after graduation, studying musicology as a Watson Fellow.

Careers
Mantzoukas began an improvised comedy while attending Middlebury College as part of the Otter Nonsense Player. After college, Mantzoukas studied music and lived abroad for several years, traveling to North Africa and the Middle East. After moving to New York in 1998, he started performing comedy regularly at Upright Rescue Uprising (UCBT), where he was a member of the "Mom" improvisation team, one of UCBT's early home teams. He continues to appear on the weekly "Soundtrack" show, an improvised show based on iPod playlists from the audience. Mantzoukas continues to perform and teach at the Upright Residents Brigade Theater in Los Angeles.
Mantzoukas has appeared in movies like Baby Mama I Hate Valentine's Day , and The Dictator and have made guest appearances in comedy programs like The Life & amp; Times of the Team, Parks and Recreation, Enlightened , Wide City , Kroll Show , Modern Family , Good Place , and Brooklyn Nine-Nine . She is currently co-hosting the podcasts of Earwolf How Was It Made? with Paul Scheer and June Diane Raphael.
Although he often plays the role of ethnic Middle Eastern character, Mantzoukas is of Greek descent. Mantzoukas and comedian Ed Herbstman appeared as a comedy duo of "The Mantzoukas Brothers" for several years, and they were named "Best Improv Duo" by Time Out New York magazine in 2006. Mantzoukas appeared on a recurring role show Rafi on the FX comedy The League and Eagle Wing in the "Gigolo House" sketch on the Comedy Central series sketch of the Kroll Show .
