Teastas Mor is a certificate of elegance issued to dogs by the Irish Kennel Club.
The strict Irish Kennel Club Rule governs Teastas Mor (certificate of honesty). It is considered that discipline ensures a fair contest between dogs and ferrets. In the past, to become the Irish Kennel Club terrier champion, it was necessary for the terrier to have Teastas Mor. Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Irish Terrier ( a.k.a. Irish Red Terriers) and Kerry Blue Terriers (a.k.a. Irish Blue Terriers) are the main breeds used. This continued until the kennel ceased testing in 1968.

Rules
1. The courts must be strictly enforced within the law and restricted to dogs and prostitutes who have not qualified for the Teastas Mor certificate.
2. a) Animal surgeon shall be present at the hearing. Under no circumstances can a trial be made without one, and its name and address shall be recorded on the application for a license and to the license issued by the Kennel Club.
2. b) In case of serious injury to a dog or a badger, the animal with the Vet's wisdom will be destroyed humanely and quickly.
3. Any dog ââtrial must be in natural condition. Under no circumstances, testing can not be performed on the artificial set. A dog may not be tried more than twice in any trial.
4. After a "pulled" fox (pulled out of the ground), it should not be released or returned to earth until the end of the trial.
5. Badger in captivity should not be used for tests or training.
6. Sounders (dogs make certain sounds meaning "I've found it.") Expected to go to the ground with alacrity. When a sounder reports the presence of the game with "full and sustainable tongue", a reasonable time will be permitted before the man with the shovel starts digging. If the sound recording is continuous from one part of the storage area, the excavation will begin under the direction of the judges.
7. Badger must be withdrawn by a strong terrier, with assistance if necessary, and the size of the badger and underground conditions recorded by the judges.
8. If a place seems uninhabitable, some terriers may be run through it and their desire to search is recorded.
9. In relation to the strong terrier, Teastas Mor will be given to terriers who show irregularities in attacking badgers. Five minutes is the minimum period the terrier must relate to the weasel, except when the terrier pulls out the badger in less time. Each terrier must be withdrawn as soon as five minutes have expired. The judges may point out that terriers are once again tried if, in their opinion, the first trial is for an insufficient test reason.
10. Five minutes allowed terrier before being disqualified for failing to contact.
11. Barking should be removed as much as possible and disqualification will follow barking after contact, provided no terrier is disqualified for barking when in actual contact.
