"Like You Never See Me Again " is a song by American singer Alicia Keys from her third studio album As I Am (2007). Written and produced by Keys and Kerry Brothers, Jr., was released in November 2007 as the album's second single. The song was first heard on October 25, 2007 at WVEE V103 radio station in Atlanta. An official remix of a song featuring Ludacris rapper exists.
Once released, the song peaked at number twelve on Billboard Hot 100 and became the 'consecutive' key R & amp; B second chart-topper, remaining on the Hot R & D Songs chart; B/Hip-Hop Songs for seven weeks. It was ranked number forty-seven on Top Billboard ' Top Hot 100 Hits 2008. The song subsequently replaced "No One" at number one in the US R & amp; B/Hip-Hop Chart. In 2008, the song won two NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Music Video and Outstanding Song and ASCAP Rhythm & amp; Soul Music Award for Top R & amps Songs B/Hip-Hop.
In January 2008, it was used in ads for ABC's soap opera All My Children , blasphemed the return of supercouple Jesse Hubbard and Angie Baxter. The song was used once more in the February 15, 2008 episode of the series, when the couple was reunited after twenty years.

This song received critical acclaim. Nate Chinem of the New York Times wrote that his song was "a distant cousin of Prince 'Purple Rain'." J. Freedom du Lac of the Washington Post agreed, writing that "the sexy song and the prince are by far the best song of the album." It tells the story backwards, and the viewers know that the couple has been quarreling. The video was aired on November 13, 2007 on MTV's Total Request Live and BET's 106 & amp; Park . It debuted at number two on VH1's VSpot Top 20 Countdown on February 23, 2008. Alicia described the video for this song as: "heartbreaking If your heart does not feel me, then you die!".
